about

This song suite came to me in a morning fever dream, banks of the Lester River, summer of 2021.
It was composed on the spot and basic tracks were recorded that afternoon. I felt like I was channeling the mysticism of my great northern folk heroes, Leo Kottke and Spider John Koerner.
My goal for this work is to bring the listener to a river, creek, or natural environment somewhere deep in their memory banks.
Side A includes vocal refrains to assist with the narrative, side B contains instrumental versions for a more freeform experience.
Thanks for listening and I hope this work can assist you in finding peace and joy in your day.
